Disclaimer: Dr. Michael S. Heiser, of blessed memory (Feb. 14, 1963 – Feb. 20, 2023). I only became aware of Dr. Heiser’s “Divine Council” theology after his leaving the earthly realm, and as yet I am not sure how much (if any) of his teaching I fully agree with. In all fairness, those of you have spent any time on this website know there are very few (if any) people with whom I agree completely, and I do not expect anyone to fully agree with me. However, I do find his viewpoint very interesting, well articulated, worthy of further investigation, and possibly even compelling. So, I have included many of his teaching videos — most of which are quite lengthy — as part of my website. If you would like a more systematic and “bite-size” way of discovering what “Divine Council” theology is all about, I refer you to his “NakedBible Podcast,” the Divine Council Worldview Facebook Group, and his website at drmsh.com. BUT BE WARNED: Once you are familiar with his teaching, you will see the Divine Council throughout the Tanakh; once you have seen it, it is impossible to un-see. Whether or not you accept his teaching, you will never read your Bible the same way again.
