If you cannot locate a Messianic congregation near you, please join me at 10:00 a..m. every Shabbat at the online worship service of Beth Yeshua Intenational streaming live from Macon, Georgia. You can also stream their services live on their YouTube channel, or watch hundreds of hours of solid biblical teaching archived there.
When searching for a Messianic congregation, remember that the term “Messianic” in this context designates a Congregation that believes in Messiah Yeshua, values God’s eternal covenant relationship with the Jewish people, and which has services that reflect some level of Jewish culture. Beyond that, Congregations can and do differ widely in their doctrine and practice. Some Congregations teach Torah observance as something that all believers must embrace, others teach Torah observance as something that only Jewish believers may embrace, while still others would teach a Grace-centered Messianic faith. Some are very Charismatic in doctrine and culture while others are not. The word “Messianic” does not guarantee sound Biblical teaching as there is no central standard. There are many wonderful Messianic Congregations that are sound in doctrine, and others that are not. May God guide you.
