108. The Abundance of Good
In the name of Allah, the beneficent, the merciful.[GN]
1. Surely we have given you Kausar,[1]
2. Therefore pray to your lord and make a sacrifice.
3. Surely your enemy is the one who shall be without posterity.
1. Kausar (also Kautsar, Kawthar or Kaouthar) (Arabic: كَوْثَر) means "abundance", "bountiful" or "plentiful". It refers to Hauzu'l-Kausar, a sacred lake called the "pond of abundance" in Paradise. [BACK]
