Lesson 2
The Three Great Rebellions
1. The Three Great Rebellions, an Overview
[Setting the scene: Deep, resonant cinematic music plays faintly in the background. As the scene opens, a gentle hum of conversation among students is heard as they settle into their seats, the soft rustle of pages turning, and the occasional creak of a wooden chair. Warm overhead lighting casts gentle shadows across the books and faces, evoking a sense of scholarly intimacy and anticipation. A few students are seen taking notes, a few nodding in recognition, as the session’s theme appears on the smartboard: “The Three Great Rebellions.” The camera slowly pans past the stack of Bibles and typewritten pages before coming to rest on Dr. Levitt, visually reinforcing the depth of study and reverence for the material and conveying engagement and the gravity of the subject matter at hand. When Dr. Levitt glances up, a faint sunlight streams through the tall classroom windows, highlighting dust motes that drift peacefully in the air, underscoring the timeless, contemplative setting of the lesson. The music fades out as the camera cuts to a medium-wide shot of Dr. Ari Levitt standing behind the lectern. He waits for the class to quiet down, then he begins to teach.]
Boker tov, class, and welcome back to our
study. In this course, we are learning a whole new theological language, recovering
the worldview of the ancient Near East and the early Netzarim—the original
Jewish followers of Yeshua. If you ask a modern Western believer why the world is
such a wicked, chaotic place, they will almost reflexively point to a single event:
the fall of man in the Garden of Eden. But if you were to ask a first-century Jew
that same question, they would not point to one event; they would point to three.
The history of our fallen world is not the result of a single, localized error, but rather a progressive “trilogy of defiance.” These three rebellions represent a catastrophic breakdown of the cosmic order, creating a legal and spiritual knot that required a very specific, redemptive counter-strategy from the Creator. Today, we are going to look at the big picture: The Three Great Rebellions. If you do not grasp these three events, you will not understand the rest of the Tanakh, you will not understand the mission of the Messiah, and you will certainly not understand the Babylonian system that we are called to exit.
[Visual Prompt: The smartboard illuminates with the bold heading—The Three Great Rebellions—and three sub-headings: 1. The Eden Rebellion, 2. The Flood Rebellion, 3. The Babel Rebellion.]
Let’s begin with a broad overview. The primary idea behind the Divine Council worldview is that HaShem has a family, and He wanted that family to participate in the “family business” of imaging Him and managing the cosmos. He created the benéi Elohim—the Sons of God—to run the unseen spiritual realm, and He created humanity to have dominion over the physical realm. Eden was the original vision where these two realms intersected; it was the cosmic mountain where the Divine Council and the human family lived under the same roof, working together.
But this blended family broke apart. Because both humans and the spiritual Sons of God were created as “imagers” of the Creator, they were endowed with genuine free will. This freedom inherently allowed for the possibility of defiance. First, we have a rebellion in Eden, where a divine agent tempts humanity to seek autonomy. Second, we have the Flood rebellion in Genesis 6, where spiritual beings cross the boundary into the physical world to genetically corrupt the human race. Finally, we have the Babel rebellion, where humanity attempts to build a centralized system of autonomy, resulting in the cosmic disinheritance of the nations.
Let’s break down each of these cosmic crimes, starting at the beginning.
[Visual Prompt: The screen transitions to a beautiful, yet dark and ominous depiction of an ancient garden situated on a high mountain. The text overlays: “THE EDEN REBELLION - Genesis 3”]
A. The Eden Rebellion
Most of us grew up with the Sunday School version of the Fall: a talking snake in an apple tree. But the biblical authors viewed this event with far more cosmic weight. The Eden Rebellion involved both human agents, Adam and Eve, and a divine agent, the Nachash or Serpent.
The entity that tempted Eve was not a mere member of the animal kingdom; he was a jealous spiritual being, a high-ranking ben Elohim who was part of the divine administration. In the ancient Near East, terms like Nachash or Halal ben Shachkar (the Shining One) were used to describe radiant, serpentine divine beings. Witnessing the creation of a human family granted dominion over the physical realm, this rebellious being sought to disqualify humanity. He deceived Adam and Eve into seeking autonomy apart from HaShem, orchestrating a strategic cosmic coup.
When Adam submitted to the Serpent’s counsel, he legally relinquished his dominion over the earth. The consequences were devastating. Humanity lost access to the Tree of Life, introducing mortality and decay into the physical world. But more than that, the authority to rule the earth was legally transferred to the Serpent, who became the de facto ruler of this world, the Lord of the Dead. Because humans were now mortal and destined to die, the Enemy held a legal claim over the souls of humanity in She'ol, the underworld.
However, immediately following this disaster, HaShem issued the foundational prophecy of all human history: the Protoevangelium, found in Genesis 3:15. God promised that a “Seed of the Woman” would eventually come to crush the head of the Serpent. This was a declaration of war. The Enemy now knew that his executioner would be a human born of the line of Eve. This sets the stage for everything that follows, because if you are the Enemy, and you know your destroyer is coming from a human bloodline, your only strategy is to corrupt that bloodline.
[Visual Prompt: The screen zooms out from the garden and shifts to a stormy, violent pre-flood landscape. The text reads: “THE FLOOD REBELLION - Genesis 6”]
B. The Flood Rebellion
This brings us to the second great rebellion, recorded in Genesis 6. We have been taught the “Sethite” view—that the “sons of God” were simply good human men from the line of Seth marrying bad human women from the line of Cain. Class, I must be blunt: that view is an innovation from the fourth century that completely ignores the ancient Hebrew context.
When the biblical text uses the phrase benéi Elohim, it is referring to spiritual beings from the Divine Council. According to Genesis 6 and the Book of Enoch—a text that the Apostles Peter and Jude frequently referenced—a group of 200 Watchers left their proper habitation in the spiritual realm and descended to Mount Hermon. They cohabited with human women to produce a hybrid race known as the Nephilim, the giant “gibborim” or mighty men of old.
This was not merely a sin of lust; it was a diabolical military strategy. We call this the “Seed War.” By interbreeding with human women, these fallen powers sought to contaminate the human genome with non-human DNA. Their goal was the total corruption of the human “seed” to ensure that the pure, uncorrupted Redeemer—the Seed of the Woman—could never be legally or biologically born.
Furthermore, these Watchers corrupted human civilization intellectually. They taught humanity illicit arts. They introduced metallurgy, teaching men how to extract ores and forge swords and armor, effectively weaponizing human society and accelerating bloodshed. They taught the arts of seduction and cosmetics to fuel sexual perversion. They taught sorcery, spell-casting, and the reading of the stars, laying the foundational occult knowledge for what would become the Babylon Mystery Religion.
The earth became so filled with violence and corrupted flesh that HaShem had to intervene. The Great Flood was not just a judgment on bad behavior; it was a cosmic quarantine. God had to wash away the genetic infection of the Nephilim to save the patient. This is why Genesis 6:9 specifically notes that Noah was tamim—a word used for unblemished sacrificial lambs. Noah’s perfection was not merely moral; his pedigree remained genetically uncorrupted by this spirit-led biological intrusion.
And what happened to these rebels? The physical bodies of the Nephilim giants were destroyed in the floodwaters. But because they were unnatural hybrids—part spirit and part flesh—their spirits could not be processed into the afterlife normally. The disembodied spirits of the dead Nephilim became what the biblical worldview calls demons. They roam the earth seeking a physical body or “house” to inhabit because they lost theirs in the Flood. Meanwhile, the fathers of these giants, the rebellious Watchers, were cast into Tartarus, chained in gloomy darkness until the final judgment, as Peter and Jude explicitly tell us.
[Visual Prompt: The screen shifts to an architectural blueprint of an ancient ziggurat rising from a desert plain. The text reads: “THE BABEL REBELLION - Genesis 11 & Deuteronomy 32”]
C. The Babel Rebellion
The waters receded, and humanity was commanded to multiply and fill the earth. But just a few generations later, we arrive at the third rebellion, which occurred on the plains of Shinar. Under the leadership of Nimrod, humanity refused to scatter. Instead, they gathered to build a city and a tower with its top in the heavens, seeking to “make a name” for themselves.
Nimrod is a pivotal figure. The Hebrew text describes him as a mighty hunter panim the Lord—which literally translates to “in the face of” or in open defiance of HaShem. He was a hunter of men’s souls, engineering the first post-flood one-world government. The Tower of Babel was a ziggurat, an astrological observatory and a temple designed to pull the divine down to earth on human terms. It was the birthplace of the Mystery Religion.
HaShem’s response to this arrogance is the key to understanding the entire geopolitical structure of the Bible. We are taught that God merely confused their languages. But the Book of Deuteronomy reveals that this was a formal divorce decree.
Turn in your Bibles to Deuteronomy 32:8. Read it carefully. In the oldest manuscripts we possess—the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Septuagint—the text says: “When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when He divided mankind, He fixed the borders of the peoples according to the number of the sons of God.”
Do you grasp the gravity of this? At Babel, HaShem legally disinherited the seventy nations of the earth. He essentially said, “You don’t want to follow me? Fine. I will hand you over to middle management.” He assigned the nations to the oversight of the benéi Elohim—lesser divine beings in His council.
But in the very next verse, Deuteronomy 32:9, we read: “But ADONAI’s portion is His people, Jacob His allotted heritage.” Immediately following the Babel event in Genesis 11, God calls Abram out of Ur—out of Babylonian territory—in Genesis 12. God creates a brand new nation, Israel, to be His own personal estate, while the rest of the world becomes occupied territory.
This arrangement was meant to be a stewardship. But the “sons of God” assigned to the nations went rogue. Instead of pointing the people back to the true Creator, they demanded worship for themselves. They set up counterfeit households and became the corrupt “gods of the nations”—entities we know as Baal, Marduk, Zeus, and the Queen of Heaven, Ishtar.
This is not mythology; this is biblical theology. These gods are real spiritual entities holding the nations in bondage. And we know their ultimate fate because of Psalm 82. In that Psalm, ADONAI takes His stand in the Divine Council and indicts these rulers: “How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked?” Because they corrupted the earth and demanded human sacrifice and idolatry, God issues a capital sentence: “I said, ‘You are gods, sons of the Most High, all of you; nevertheless, like men you shall die.’”
[Visual Prompt: Dr. Levitt leans earnestly over the lectern, looking directly into the camera lens. The lighting dims slightly to create a dramatic, intense focus on his face.]
D. What This All Means
Class, you cannot understand the mission of Yeshua HaMashiach without this backdrop. The Messiah did not come just to offer a moral framework or to secure a ticket to clouds and harps. He came to execute the judgment of Psalm 82. He came to wage a strategic, cosmic war to untie the knot of these three rebellions.
At the cross, He broke the legal claim of the Serpent from Eden. At the Transfiguration on Mount Hermon, He served an eviction notice to the Watchers of the Flood. And at Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit empowered the disciples to speak the languages of the 70 disinherited nations, He reversed the curse of Babel, sending a shockwave into the spiritual realm that said, “The divorce is over. I am taking the nations back.”
Understanding this cosmic geography is the first step in our Exodus from Babylon. We must recognize that the religious syncretism we see in the modern world is the lingering infrastructure of these fallen gods, an infrastructure built by Nimrod and rebranded by Rome. Our mandate as the Remnant is to identify the counterfeit, reclaim the authentic, and step into our roles as the replacement council for the Kingdom of Heaven.
We will pause here. When we return, we will trace exactly how Nimrod and Semiramis hijacked the promise of the Messiah to create the Mother-Child cult that infected the ancient world. Read Psalm 82 and Deuteronomy 32. Let it sink in. The world is a much stranger, darker, and yet more glorious battlefield than you have ever been told.
[Video Production Note: Fade to black.]
2. The Eden Rebellion
[Video Production Note: The video opens with a cinematic title sequence. The background is a moving, dark nebular cloud that slowly gives way to the image of a lush, ancient, mountainous garden. Deep, resonant cello and string music plays. The text fades in boldly: The Eden Rebellion. As the music fades out, the scene returns to the classroom where a collection of ancient maps and artifacts have been added to the desktop. The camera pans from the desktop to Dr. Levitt, who looks intently into the camera lens. He begins to teach.]
In this class, you may notice that I often repeat myself. I want you to know that just because I’m older than you, that doesn’t mean I’m getting senile. [Class twitters] I say this because the information you are hearing in this course is almost certainly going to challenge most of what you have been taught your whole life in Sunday School. We are learning a whole new theological language—the language of the Ancient Near East, the language of the prophets, and the language of the Netzarim, the original Jewish followers of Yeshua. When I repeat myself, it is because that particular bit of information probably counters what you have learned, so it needs to be reinforced. We are rewiring your theological hard drives.
Today, we are going to look at the genesis of our cosmic problem. The Main Idea for today’s lecture is the loss of dominion and the introduction of death. We are going to explore how the Edenic Rebellion was the very first time the benéi Elohim—the Sons of God—who had rebelled against HaShem attempted to derail His intent to create a human branch of the Family Business.
[Visual Prompt: The smartscreen beside Dr. Levitt illuminates with three stark, monumental pillars of stone. Text overlays the pillars: 1. Eden, 2. The Flood, 3. Babel.]
To fully understand Eden, we must first look at the grand scope of the biblical narrative. The history of our fallen world is not the result of a single, localized error; it is a “trilogy of defiance.” First, there was the Eden Rebellion, where humanity was deceived into seeking autonomy, resulting in the loss of their dominion over the physical realm and the introduction of death. Second, there was the Flood Rebellion of Genesis 6, a strategic “Seed War” where rebellious Watchers (benéi Elohim) descended to hybridize and corrupt the human genome to prevent the Messiah’s birth. Third, there was the Babel Rebellion, where humanity refused to scatter, prompting HaShem to legally disinherit the seventy nations and place them under the administration of lesser elohim—who subsequently rebelled and became the corrupt gods of the pagan world.
If you do not fully grasp these three rebellions, you cannot understand the mission of Yeshua. But today, we zoom in on Ground Zero. We go to Eden.
[Visual Prompt: The screen transitions to a breathtaking, luminous rendering of a garden situated on a high, cosmic mountain, representing the meeting place of Heaven and Earth.]
A. Eden: The Home Office of the Family Business
Let’s erase the cartoonish image of two naked people
sitting under an apple tree. What was Eden? God created Eden to be His residence and the
“Home Office” for His Family Business in the physical realm. HaShem has a spiritual
family—the benéi Elohim—who run the unseen realm. But He wanted an earthly family
of “imagers” to represent Him here.
He installed Adam, with his helper Eve, as the caretakers over this physical realm. Eden was the beachhead. Humankind was commanded to have dominion over the entire physical realm and to cultivate the whole planet to be perfect, just as Eden was perfect. The mandate was to take the borders of Eden and push them outward until the entire globe was a sanctuary where Heaven and Earth overlapped.
[Visual Prompt: The camera slowly pushes in on Dr. Levitt’s face as his expression turns somber.]
B. The One Rule and the Necessity of Innocence
In this perfect corporate headquarters, there was only one prohibition. God gave Adam and Eve only one rule, one commandment: they were not to eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Why? Was God hiding something from them? No. You have to understand what “knowledge of good and evil” meant in the ancient world. It didn’t mean they were robots without free will. Humankind was intended to remain innocent and entirely dependent upon God for knowledge and wisdom. They had absolutely no need to understand the concept of evil. To “know good and evil” in this context meant asserting moral autonomy—deciding for yourself what is right and wrong, rather than trusting the Creator’s definitions.
C. The Jealous Ben Elohim and His Trap
But there was a problem in the unseen realm. One of the benéi Elohim—a high-ranking spiritual being—became intensely jealous that God had created an earthly family of “imagers.” This rebellious being, often identified in the Tanakh as the Nachash (the shining serpent) or HaSatan (the Accuser), was outraged that mud-creatures were given dominion over the physical world.
Because God is just, He will not simply uncreate something without cause. So, this jealous ben Elohim concocted a brilliant, diabolical plan. His goal was to trick humanity into angering God, so that God Himself would be forced by His own holiness to eliminate His human family.
[Visual Prompt: The smartscreen displays a shadowy, serpentine, luminous figure whispering into the ear of a woman in a lush garden setting.]
The Accuser approached Eve and gave her a choice. It was not a choice
about dietary preferences; it was a choice of jurisdiction. He offered her this: either
remain subject to the rule of God, or submit to the rule of thisben Elohim.
He targeted her desire to be a good steward of creation. Eve was deceived into believing that the fruit of the forbidden tree was to be desired because it would “make them like God.” The Accuser twisted her holy vocation. She thought, “After all, wouldn’t having divine wisdom make us better caretakers of this infant planet?” She didn’t want to destroy the world; she was tricked into thinking she was getting an administrative upgrade.
Being a good assistant manager, the woman brought this new “insight” to the attention of her husband, believing this would greatly enhance their ability to manage the Edenic planet.[1]
And here is where the ultimate tragedy occurs. Adam agreed.
[Visual Prompt: Dr. Levitt points a finger directly at the camera, emphasizing the theological weight of the moment.]
Rebbe Sha’ul makes a crucial distinction in the Apostolic Writings. In 2 Corinthians 11:3-4 and 1 Timothy 2:14 we are explicitly told that the woman was deceived. She was tricked by a superior, supernatural intellect. But the man? Adam was not deceived. Adam made a clear, conscious choice to rebel against God and to submit to the authority of the “serpent.” Adam chose his wife, and the counsel of the ben Elohim, over the direct command of his Creator.
The fallout of this event cannot be overstated. It changed the legal architecture of the universe.
D. The Catastrohic Results
It created a legal transfer of dominion. By submitting to the Serpent, Adam legally relinquished to the “serpent” his authority over the physical realm. The Accuser usurped Adam’s throne. This is why, later in the Scriptures, Satan is referred to as the “ruler of this world” or the “Lord of the Dead.” He held the deed to the earth, surrendered voluntarily by Adam. Adam legally relinquished his dominion to the serpent through a conscious choice of submission and rebellion against the Creator.
God originally installed Adam as the caretaker of the physical realm, giving him dominion to cultivate the earth as the headquarters of God’s “family business.” However, a jealous spiritual being from the Divine Council (a ben Elohim), acting as the serpent or the Accuser, wanted to totally disqualify humanity from this role.
The serpent approached Eve and presented a choice of jurisdiction: humanity could either remain subject to God’s rule by obeying His single commandment, or they could submit to the rule of the serpent by eating the forbidden fruit. While the Apostolic Writings point out that Eve was deceived by the serpent into thinking the fruit would make her a better caretaker with divine wisdom, Adam was not deceived.
Adam made a clear, deliberate choice to rebel against God’s direct command and instead submit to the authority and counsel of the serpent. By choosing to obey the serpent over the Creator, Adam legally transferred his authority over the physical realm to the Accuser. Through this act of submission, the serpent usurped Adam’s throne and became the de facto “ruler of this world.” This resulted in four conditions for the original administrators of planet Earth.
First, The Curse of the Serpent: The “serpent” was
cursed by God (Genesis 3:14), demoted from his glorious station in the heavens to
just the eretz—the earth and the underworld.
Second, The Enmity (The Seed War): A state of perpetual enmity was placed between all of humanity and those benéi Elohim who had participated in the rebellion with the serpent (Genesis 3:15). This is the Protoevangelium—the promise that a human “Seed” would one day come to crush the head of this Serpent.
Third, The Marital Fracture:The woman was no longer to be totally equal to the man in their harmonious management; she was now to be subject to his dominion (Genesis 3:16). The perfect human partnership was broken.
And fourth, The Cosmic Curse: The entire earth was placed under a curse of sin and death (Genesis 3:17-19). Because they lost access to the Tree of Life, mortality entered the human condition. They would return to the dust.
[Visual Prompt: The smartboard shifts to a raw, visceral image: blood-stained animal skins resting on an altar of rough-hewn stone.]

E. The First Sacrifice and the Ultimate Atonement
HaShem did not leave them without hope, nor did He leave them naked in their shame. Genesis 3:21 tells us, “And ADONAI God made for Adam and for his wife garments of skins and clothed them.”
Class, I want you to stop and think about the sheer horror of this moment. Until this day, death did not exist in the physical realm. No animal had ever died. No blood had ever been shed.
To make those garments of skin, God required Adam to slaughter an innocent animal, likely one foe each of them. This was the first death in the physical realm, and God required Adam to perform it himself. God used this sacrifice to institute the entire sacrificial system and to instruct Adam in its use.
Imagine Adam’s horrified emotions as he reluctantly obeys the Creator Who has ordered him to take the life of two innocent creatures that Adam had named and cared for and loved. Their lifeblood draining into the soil. The violent, visceral reality of death. Why did God do this? Because He had to teach them the terrifying mathematics of rebellion: The wages of sin is death. Sin costs life. “Your sin killed them!”
By taking the skins and covering Adam and Eve, God introduced the concept of Atonement. The Hebrew root for atonement, kippur, carries the idea of covering or wiping clean. The bloody covering was to be a daily, physical reminder to humanity of how extremely serious sin is. Every time they put on those skins, they remembered that an innocent life was taken to cover their shame and guilt.
But this event was a shadow. It was a typological signpost pointing forward. The skins could only cover the shame temporarily; the blood of bulls and goats cannot permanently remove sin.
This first sacrifice established the legal precedent that would eventually allow the Creator to execute His master plan. God Himself, the Second Power, the visible ADONAI, would step into human history as Yeshua HaMashiach.
Yeshua became the ultimate sacrifice. He became the pure, unblemished “Seed of the Woman” promised in Genesis 3:15. His blood was shed not just to make a temporary covering of skins, but to provide the ultimate, eternal atonement. By dying as a human, He paid the penalty of Eden. By rising from the dead as God, He shattered the legal claim of the Lord of the Dead. Yeshua snatched the keys of dominion back from the Serpent, legally reclaiming the physical realm and opening the door for the human family to return to the presence of the Father.
Because of the ultimate atonement, mankind, who was cast out of Eden in Genesis 3:23-24, will finally be restored. The end of the Book of Revelation is not a cloud in the sky; it is Eden restored globally, where God and man dwell together, without the Serpent, without the curse, and without death.
Let us take a brief pause here. When we return, we will look at how the enemy responded to the prophecy of the coming Seed by launching an all-out biological assault in the days of Noah.
[Visual Prompt: The camera slowly zooms out as Dr. Levitt closes his Tanakh. The screen fades to black with the text: “END OF SESSION: THE EDEN REBELLION” accompanied by a somber, unresolved string chord.]
3. The Flood Rebellion
[Video Production Note: The video opens with a cinematic title sequence. The background is an animated, stormy, violent pre-flood landscape with dark, churning clouds. Deep, resonant cello music plays underneath. The text fades in boldly: REMNANT THEOLOGY: THE EXODUS FROM BABYLON. The subtitle appears below: Class Title: The Flood Rebellion. The music slowly fades out as the camera cuts to a medium-wide shot of Dr. Ari Levitt. He sits on the front edge of his desk. Part of the large digital smartboard is visible over his right shoulder. He begins to teach.]
Welcome back, class. I want to remind you that when I repeat myself, as I often do, it is only because the information you are hearing in this course challenges the “flat” worldview most of us inherited from modern Sunday School. We are rewiring your theological hard drives. We are learning a new theological language—the language of the Ancient Near East, the language of the prophets, and the language of the Netzarim, the original Jewish followers of Yeshua. I am repeating myself to reinforce the foundation. If the foundation is cracked, the house falls.
In our previous session, we examined the Eden Rebellion, the first great cosmic crime where humanity relinquished its dominion to the Serpent. Today, we advance to the second of the three great rebellions. Our main idea today is the incursion of the Benéi Elohim—the Watchers—and the genetic corruption of the Nephilim to block the coming Seed.
[Visual Prompt: The smartboard illuminates with the text: “THE FLOOD REBELLION: Genesis 6. The Seed War Begins.”]
A. The Seed War Begins
If you grew up in a standard Western church, you were likely taught the “Sethite” view of Genesis 6. You were taught that the “sons of God” were just godly human men from the line of Seth, and they mistakenly married bad human women from the line of Cain and the lesson was to avoid mixed marriages of believers and non-believers. Class, I must tell you plainly that this view is a fourth-century innovation that completely ignores the ancient Hebrew context. It does not fit the text, and it ignores the Ancient Near East, or ANE, worldview. To understand the gravity of Genesis 6, we first must define our terms biblically, specifically the phrase “sons of God.”
[Visual Prompt: The screen displays the phrase: “Sons of God = Created Beings (Not Born)”]
It is important to understand that the phrase “sons of God” always refers to created, not born, beings; that is, beings who have been directly created by God. Adam was called a “son of God” in Luke 3:38 specifically because he was directly created by God from the dust. Yeshua was likewise called a “Son of God” in Luke 1:35 in that exact same sense, because His physical form was directly created by God in the womb of a teen-aged virgin.
This directly connects to the foundational architecture of the universe. The ANE (Ancient Near East) understanding was that the benéi Elohim were the first intelligent beings directly created by God to be in charge of His “family business” in the unseen realm, and that humans were created by God to be in charge of His “family business” in the physical realm. God wanted a family, and He wanted that family to participate in imaging Him and managing the cosmos. The benéi Elohim were His celestial administration, directly created by His hand.
[Visual Prompt: Dr. Levitt leans forward, stands, and walks to stand behind the lectern. He looks directly into the camera lens with intense focus. He continues teaching.]
This brings us to the shocking reality of Genesis chapter 6. In Genesis 6, we read that “in the days of Noah,” some of the benéi Elohim, that is, the sons of God from the unseen realm, began to intermarry—or at least have sexual relations—with “the daughters of men,” human women. Why would they do this? Was it merely uncontrollable lust?
No, it was a calculated subversion of the divine order. They had decided that they were not satisfied to just be a part of God’s family; they wanted to create their own human families to “image” themselves, and perhaps to create humans who would worship them instead of worshiping God. They wanted their own dynasties. They wanted to usurp the Creator’s design for the physical world.
[Visual Prompt: The smartboard shifts to a graphic showing two intersecting lineages, one labeled “The Seed of the Woman” and the other labeled “The Seed of the Serpent,” with a massive biological contamination symbol over the human line.]
But there was an even more sinister, strategic motive at play. You need to remember the Protoevangelium—the prophecy given in Genesis 3:15. God declared that a human “Seed of the Woman” would one day come to crush the head of the Serpent. The enemy knew his executioner would be a human born of the line of Eve.
Therefore, the second rebellion, described in Genesis 6, was a strategic attempt by a group of benéi Elohim to permanently subvert the promised redemption. By “leaving their own domain” to interbreed with human women, they sought to contaminate the human bloodline with non-human DNA, creating a hybrid race known as the Nephilim. Their goal was the total corruption of the human “seed” to ensure the Redeemer, the “Seed of the Woman,” could never be born. If they could hybridize the human race, the Messiah could not be a pure kinsman-redeemer.
[Visual Prompt: The screen displays the Hebrew word “tamim (תָּמִים)” with the definition: “perfect, unblemished, sound.”]
This is the only context that makes sense of how the Bible describes Noah. In this context, Noah’s “perfection” was not merely moral but genetic; his lineage remained uncorrupted—in Hebrew, tamim—by this spirit-led biological intrusion. When Genesis 6:9 says Noah was perfect in his generations, it uses the exact same word used later for a sacrificial lamb without physical blemish. By preserving Noah, whose bloodline remained uncorrupted by “demon”—benéi Elohim—DNA, God was able to preserve the pure bloodline required for the Messiah to be born.
[Visual Prompt: The smartboard transitions to an image of massive, chaotic ancient warfare, depicting towering hybrid figures dominating human populations.]
The result of that illicit interbreeding was twofold: the Nephilim—sometimes translated “giants,” so when reading the Bible and you see the word “giant” think “Nephilim”—began to be on the earth, both then and after the flood, and everyone on earth, with the exception of Noah and his immediate family, was totally wicked. By virtue of all this interbreeding, almost the entire human family had been corrupted by this intrusion and had therefore become evil. The earth was filled with violence and absolute depravity.
Because of this total corruption, God gave them just 120 more years to repent, or He would wipe out every living creature from the face of the earth.
[Visual Prompt: The camera cuts to a tight shot of Dr. Levitt. He removes a bottle of water from the back of the lectern and takes a deliberate sip of water before continuing, signaling a shift to a heavy theological consequence. He returns the bottle to the back of the lecturn and continues teaching.]
The Flood was not just a judgment of water; it was a cosmic quarantine. God had to wash away the genetic infection of the Nephilim to save the patient—humanity.
But what happened to these hybrid beings when the waters rose? The Nephilim all perished in the Deluge, but since they were half human and half benéi Elohim, their physical bodies could die but their souls could not join the human souls in She'ol, nor could they join the benéi Elohim that are bound in Tartarus. The rebellious fathers—the Watchers who committed this crime—were cast down to a chamber far below She'ol, delivered into chains of darkness in Tartarus to await the judgment of the great day. But their bastard children, the Nephilim, had no place in heaven because they were not pure benéi Elohim, and they had no place in the natural order of the earth because they were not fully human.
Thus, their disembodied souls, now known as demons, are left to roam the earth causing chaos and seeking bodies to inhabit. This is the ancient, biblical origin of demons! They are the disembodied spirits of the dead Nephilim, wandering the earth, desperate to find a physical “house” to experience the physical realm they were drowned out of. When you see demons in the Gospels begging Yeshua not to send them to the Abyss, it is because they know that is where their fathers, the Watchers, are locked up.
[Visual Prompt: The smartboard shifts from dark, stormy imagery to a bright, radiant image of a newly grafted olive branch, with the text: “The New Creation: Reclaiming the Sonship.”]
B. The New Creation: Retaining the Sonship
Now, how does this ancient, cosmic horror story apply to us today? I want to bring this full circle back to Remnant Theology.
We established that the title “sons of God” originally belonged only to directly created beings. The benéi Elohim forfeited their holy status, creating a massive vacancy in the Divine Council. But through the finished work of Yeshua, the ultimate, uncorrupted Seed of the Woman, a miraculous legal transaction takes place for the believer.
Followers of Messiah Yeshua become “sons of God” by virtue of becoming “a new creation” as Rebbe Sha’ul writes in 2 Corinthians 5:17 and Galatians 6:14-15. By being born again, we are literally being created directly by God through the indwelling of Ruach HaKodesh. Because you are a “new creation,” directly birthed by the Spirit of the Living God, you now hold the ontological rank of the benéi Elohim. You are being groomed to take the seats in the Divine Council that were vacated by the rebellious Watchers.
The enemy tried to create his own counterfeit sons through illicit genetic manipulation. But HaShem, in His infinite wisdom and mercy, creates His true sons and daughters through the regenerative power of Ruach HaKodesh, the Holy Spirit.
Let’s take a brief recess here. When we come back, we will look at how this cosmic war escalated after the Flood, leading directly to the Babel Rebellion and the disinheritance of the nations. Think on these things. See you in fifteen minutes.

4. The Babel Rebellion
[Video Production Note: The video resumes with a cinematic title sequence. The background displays a sprawling, ancient desert plain with a massive, half-built ziggurat rising ominously against a twilight sky. Deep, resonant strings play a foreboding chord. The text fades in boldly: REMNANT THEOLOGY: THE EXODUS FROM BABYLON. The subtitle appears below: Class Title: The Babel Rebellion. The music slowly fades out as the camera cuts to a medium-wide shot of Dr. Ari Levitt. He stands behind his solid wood lectern in the classroom. Ancient maps of Mesopotamia and a replica of a cuneiform tablet are on his desk. He adjusts his kippah, looks intensely into the camera lens, and begins.]
We have spent our last few class segments diagnosing the first two fractures in the cosmic order. We looked at the Eden Rebellion, where humanity lost its dominion to the Serpent. We looked at the Flood Rebellion, where the rebellious benéi Elohim—the Watchers—attempted to corrupt the human genome to block the arrival of the promised Seed.
We now arrive at the third and perhaps most geopolitically significant fracture. We are going to look at the Babel Rebellion.
The Main Idea for this segment is this: the national disinheritance and the assignment of the 70 nations to lesser elohim. If you do not understand this event, you cannot understand why the Tanakh is a story of Israel versus the nations, and you cannot understand the pervasive, systemic idolatry that still infects the modern religious world today.
[Visual Prompt: The camera pans to the digital smartboard which illuminates with a map of the ancient Near East, zooming in on the region between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. The text overlays: “SHINAR: The Seat of the Third Rebellion.” The camera pans back to Dr. Levitt.]
A. The Defiance of Shinar and the Rise of Nimrod
After the catastrophic judgment of the Flood, HaShem gave Noah and his descendants a very clear, unambiguous command. He instructed them to “Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth.” The divine mandate was to scatter, to repopulate the globe, and to get back to the business of expanding the borders of Eden.
But humanity, now barely five generations removed from the Deluge, decided they had a better idea. Instead of scattering as commanded, they migrated from the east and settled in a plain in the land of Shinar. Shinar is the ancient biblical designation for Sumer, the cradle of civilization in southern Mesopotamia—the region that would eventually become Babylon.
It was here that the third great rebellion occurred under the leadership of a man named Nimrod.
Who was Nimrod? The text of Genesis 10 and 1 Chronicles 1:10 tells us he was a descendant of Ham and “the first powerful ruler on earth.” He built a number of cities—Babel, Erech, Akkad, and Calneh—and organized them into the world’s very first dictatorship. He engineered the first post-flood “one-world government,” shifting the focus of human loyalty from the Creator to the imperial state. Historical and archaeological parallels strongly suggest Nimrod is remembered in secular history as figures like Sargon of Akkad or the Sumerian king Enmerkar, rulers known for their absolute, tyrannical consolidation of power.
[Visual Prompt: The camera pushes in close on Dr. Levitt’s face. The lighting dims slightly, emphasizing the gravity of the translation he is about to explain.]
Now, your English Bible likely describes Nimrod as a “mighty hunter before the LORD.” When we read that, we picture a skilled outdoorsman, an ancient sportsman bringing home venison for his tribe. But we must look at the Hebrew text.
The Hebrew word translated as “before” is panim, which literally means “face” or “presence.” In this specific context, coupled with his name—Nimrod literally means “Rebel”—the phrase carries a deeply aggressive, hostile connotation. He wasn’t a mighty hunter in service to the Lord. The phrase should be understood as “Nimrod was a mighty hunter right in God’s face” or “in open defiance of HaShem.”
And class, he was not hunting animals. He was a hunter of men. He was hunting human souls, consolidating them into a centralized system of autonomy and rebellion against the Creator.
B. The Architecture of Autonomy: The Tower
To solidify this centralized dictatorship, Nimrod and his followers engaged in a massive public works project. They said, “Come, let’s build ourselves a city with a tower that has its top reaching up into heaven, so that we can make a name for ourselves and not be scattered all over the earth.”
This was the Tower of Babel. It was not just a tall building made of baked bricks; it was a ziggurat. And we need to understand how it is described in the Hebrew text. Literally it was “a tower, at its top the heavens.” This allows us to come to a very different understanding of its three possible intents.
[Visual Prompt: The smart-board displays a 3D architectural rendering of an ancient Mesopotamian ziggurat—a massive, extremely tall, terraced step-pyramid with a shrine at the very top, reaching toward a starry night sky.]
In the study of Ancient Near Eastern history and biblical theology, there are three primary ideas regarding the intended function of this tower:
1. A Monument to Human Ingenuity: First, the tower was intended to be a monument to the pride and technological capability of mankind, who believed they could build a structure all the way to the firmament. It was a declaration of humanism—”making a name” for themselves rather than exalting the Name of HaShem.
2. A Siege Ramp to Heaven: Second, some scholars and ancient traditions suggest the tower was intended to be a literal siege ramp to the firmament. In their mythological worldview, they intended to bring a physical attack into the heavenly realm against the gods who lived there, perhaps in retaliation for the Flood.
3. An Astrological Observatory: Third—and I personally believe this is the most critical function—the tower was intended to be an observatory for using astrology for divination.
Let’s expand on this third point. Remember the Watchers from Genesis 6? The rebellious benéi Elohim didn’t just corrupt human genetics; they taught humanity “illicit arts,” including astrology, astronomy, and metalurgy. The forbidden knowledge imparted by the Watchers—specifically in the realms of astrology and astronomy—laid the direct technological and theological foundation for the rebellion at the Tower of Babel. The builders of Babel were utilizing this forbidden knowledge. The top of the ziggurat was a portal, an observatory designed to track the zodiac and pull the divine down to earth on human terms.
Astrology became an incredibly important element of the religion that developed around Nimrod after his death and subsequent deification. It was the core of what would become the Babylon Mystery Religion, shifting the worship of humanity away from the Creator and toward the “host of heaven”—the stars and the spiritual entities associated with them.
This specific celestial knowledge had a profound impact on the post-flood world, culminating in the Babel rebellion in the following ways:
1. Shifting Worship to the Stars: The astronomical secrets provided by the Watchers shifted human attention away from the Creator and toward the creation, leading humanity to worship the “host of heaven” rather than HaShem.
2. The True Purpose of the Tower: When Nimrod led humanity to the plains of Shinar to build the Tower of Babel, they were not merely constructing a tall building to reach the sky physically. The Tower was actually a ziggurat and an astrological observatory.
3. Aligning with Fallen Powers: The building of the Tower was a direct application of the Watchers’ astrological teachings. It functioned as a piece of spiritual technology designed to track the stars and align human government with fallen spiritual powers, facilitating illicit zodiacal worship. It was intended to be a “gate of the gods,” allowing humanity to access and manipulate the spiritual realm on their own terms.
This tower served as a piece of spiritual technology designed to track the stars, align human government with fallen spiritual powers, and access the divine realm on human terms.
[Visual Prompt: The screen transitions from the ziggurat to a sweeping view of a heavenly courtroom. A blinding light sits upon a central throne, surrounded by lesser, shadowy thrones. Text overlays: “THE DIVINE DIVORCE - Deuteronomy 32:8-9”]
C. The Cosmic Disinheritance
God’s response to humanity’s refusal to scatter and their attempt to build this centralized system of autonomy was swift, but it was far more profound than merely giving people different vocabularies.
We are taught that God came down, confused their languages, and scattered them. But the theological reality of what happened at Babel is recorded by Moses much later, in Deuteronomy 32:8-9.
If you read the standard Masoretic text, it says God divided the nations according to the “number of the sons of Israel.” But class, that makes zero historical sense. Israel did not exist at the time of Babel. Israel is not listed in the Table of Nations in Genesis 10.
If we look at the older, more accurate manuscripts—the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Greek Septuagint—we find the true reading. ADONAI executed a massive legal judgment. The text says: “When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance, when He divided the sons of man, He set the boundaries of the peoples according to the number of the sons of God [benéi Elohim].”
Do you understand what this means? God disinherited the seventy nations of the earth.
He essentially said, “You want to build a tower to the stars? You want to worship the host of heaven instead of Me? Fine. I am turning you over to them.” He assigned the 70 language groups of humanity to the administrative oversight of lesser elohim—the benéi Elohim or “Sons of God” in His Divine Council. He outsourced the management of the globe to middle management. This was a cosmic divorce decree.
But our God is a God of redemption. He did not abandon His plan for a human family. The very next verse, Deuteronomy 32:9, reveals His counter-strategy: “For ADONAI’s portion is His people; Jacob, God’s own allotment.”
The Hebrew word for “portion” here is chebel. While He assigned the 70 nations to the lesser gods, He kept the descendants of Yaakov (Jacob) as His own personal chebel. Immediately after the Babel event in Genesis 11, what happens in Genesis 12? God calls a man named Avram out of Ur—out of the very heart of Nimrod’s Babylonian empire—to create a totally new nation from scratch. Israel became God’s private estate, while the rest of the 70 nations became occupied territory.
This disinheritance shaped a current spiritual reality where specific, hostile spiritual entities hold authority over specific geopolitical regions. The Bible identifies specific territorial spirits, such as the “Prince of Persia” and the “Prince of Greece” in Daniel 10, who govern their respective empires and fight against God’s angels like Michael (the prince of Israel). And Rebbe Sha'ul’s terminology for the forces of darkness—such as “principalities,” “powers,” “thrones,” and “dominions”—are specifically terms of geographic dominion, reflecting the reality that these fallen gods still to this day enslave and rule the populations of the disinherited nations.
[Visual Prompt: The smart-board shifts to display a heavy, iron gavel striking a wooden sounding block. The text reads: “THE INDICTMENT OF THE GODS - Psalm 82”]
D. The Rogue Administration and the Judgment of Psalm 82
This arrangement was intended to be a stewardship. The lesser elohim were supposed to govern the nations justly. But they went rogue. They not only accepted the worship of the nations for themselves; they demanded it. And their demands included human sacrifice. Two of them in particular, Ba’al and Moloch, demanded that infants be burned alive in the fires of Moloch's statue. They became the corrupt pantheons of the ancient world—the gods of Babylon, Egypt, Greece, and Rome.
This brings us to Psalm 82, one of the most explosive and misunderstood chapters in the entire Bible. Psalm 82 records the Creator’s formal indictment of these assigned elohim for their subsequent corruption and profound injustice.
Let’s read the court transcript:
The Indictment: The Uncreated Judge takes His stand in the Divine Council and says, “How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked?” He is calling out the spiritual rulers of the 70 nations. Instead of shepherding humanity, they demanded blood sacrifices, they fueled wars, and they oppressed the innocent.
The Failure: The text specifically outlines their failure. God commanded them to “Give justice to the weak and the fatherless… Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” They failed entirely to execute this righteous mandate. They plunged the world into darkness.
The Sentence: Because of this high treason, the Uncreated Judge issues a terrifying capital sentence against these immortal spirit beings. In verse 6 and 7 He hands down their capital sentence: “I said, ‘You are gods (elohim), sons of the Most High, all of you; nevertheless, like men you shall die, and fall like any prince’.”
They are sentenced to lose their immortality. They are fired from the Family Business. And the Psalm ends with the prophetic cry: “Arise, O God, and judge the earth; for all the nations belong to You!” The rest of the biblical story—from Abraham to the coming of Yeshua—is the story of God executing that sentence and taking the 70 nations back.
[Visual Prompt: The screen shows a timeline beginning at the Tower of Babel, branching out into icons of various ancient deities (Ba’al, Mars, Jupiter, Isis, Aphrodite, Venus, Diana), and finally merging into the architecture of St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome.]
E. The Babylonian Taproot and Modern Syncretism
Now, we must bring this into the present. Why is this course called “Remnant Theology: The Exodus from Babylon”? Because the religion that developed at Babel did not die when the languages were confused.
Following the death of Nimrod—who traditions say was violently executed by Noah’s son Shem to prove that Nimrod was merely mortal because people were beginning to worship him as a god—his wife, Semiramis, institutionalized his rebellion. She claimed her son, Tammuz, was the miraculously conceived reincarnation of Nimrod, hijacking the Genesis 3:15 prophecy of the “Seed of the Woman.” This created the “Mother-Child” cult and Semiramis was deified as the “Queen of Heaven.” Search your memories; who is the current reigning “Queen of Heaven?”
As the 70 language groups scattered from Babel, they took this Mystery Religion with them. It became the source for all the false religions of humanity. In Egypt, Semiramis and Tammuz were called Isis and Horus. In Greece, Aphrodite and Eros. In Rome, Venus and Cupid.
(1) A Female Watcher?
While we’re speaking of Aphrodite and Eros, this is probably an appropriate time to take a short rabbit trail after the so-called “goddess.” Remember that the initial reason the Watchers came down to Mount Hermon was to mate with human women. It takes male watchers to mate with female humans. So how do we have goddesses in the various pantheons?
Apparently at least one of the benéi Elohim specialized in gender manipulation and transition. In ancient post-flood Babylon, particilarly during the reign of Gudea (c. 2144-2124 BCE) and the Third Dynasty of Ur, the Watchers were know as Anunnaki.[2] Inanna, later known as Ishtar, was “the most important female deity of ancient Mesopotamia at all periods.”[3] “She” (be careful with your pronouns) was the Sumerian goddess of love, sexuality, prostitution, and war. “She” was the divine personification of the planet Venus, the morning and evening star. In “her” various appearances down through history “she” has been worshipped as Semiramis, Ashtoreth, Astarte, Ishtar, Inanna, Venus, Artemis (of the Ephesians), and Diana, among other names and designations of the fertility goddess. “She,” by whatever name “she” was known at the time and in that place, has almost always been revered as the goddess of love, war, and fertility, embodying duality, including male/female duality. “Sacred” prostitution, homosexuality, gender confusion, and even trans-genderism was usually part of “her” worship practice. [MORE HERE] With many Bible teachers now teaching that “the ancient gods have returned” and are now directing the course of our society, which member of the ancient pantheon do you think might be the “hidden power” guiding the current gender dysphoria epedemic?
OK, enough of the rabbit trail.
(2) Interpretatio Christiana
We were talking abour how the 70 language groups scattered from Babel and took this Mystery Religion with them.
And so tragically, class, this system infiltrated our own house. In the 4th century, the Roman Emperor Constantine—who, incidentally, absolutely never converted to Christianity; but that’s another class—realized he could not crush the Yeshua-following Messianic movement. So, he utilized a policy of Interpretatio Christiana—Christian Interpretation. He took the ancient Babylonian Religion, which had been adapted into Roman paganism, and dressed it in Bible words.
The Roman church under Constantine, and for centuries afterwards, directly introduced these pagan elements into modern Christianity.[4] The “Queen of Heaven” was rebranded as a non-biblical version of Mary. The statue of Jupiter in Rome was literally renamed Peter. The astrological, sun-worshipping calendar of Babylon replaced the biblical Moedim (Appointed Times). The Sabbath was discarded for the “Day of the Sun” (Sunday), Passover was replaced by the fertility festival of Ishtar (Easter), and the birth of the Messiah was moved from Sukkot, the autumn Feast of Tabernacles, to the winter solstice festival of Saturnalia (Christmas).
(3) The Gods of the Nations
Class, the Babel Rebellion was not just an architectural failure. It was the moment the world was handed over to the fallen gods, and the moment the Babylonian Taproot was planted in the soil of human history. It explains the geopolitical structure of the world and why we have “spiritual warfare” over nations.
We generally think of Genesis 11’s narrative about the Tower of Babel as just a story about architecture. “They built a tall tower, God got mad.” No. It was about sacred space. They were building a ziggurat—a man-made mountain—to bring the presence of the gods down to earth on their own terms. It was an attempt to re-establish Eden without HaShem.
HaShem comes down and confuses their languages. But He does something else—something much more severe. He “divorced” the 70 nations listed in Genesis 10. He disinherited them. He assigned those nations to the management of members of His Divine Council. He put the benéi Elohim in charge of them. “You want other gods? Fine. I will put you under middle-management.”
Deuteronomy 32:9 says, “But ADONAI’s portion is His people, Jacob his allotted heritage.” Since He disinherited the nations, HaShem started over. He called one man, Abraham, to build a new nation from scratch. Israel would be ADONAI’s private estate.
Those “middle managers” went rogue. Instead of pointing the nations to the Creator, they demanded worship for themselves. They became the “gods of the nations”—Baal, Marduk, Zeus, and Osiris; Astarte, Ashtoreth, Diana, and Venus. This is why Psalm 82 exists. It is a courtroom scene where God convenes the Council and indicts them: “You have judged unjustly. You have shown partiality to the wicked. Therefore, you will die like men.”
So, by the time we get to the end of the Tanakh, look at the map:
• Every nation on earth is under the dominion of a hostile spiritual power (a fallen Son of God).
• The earth is infested with demons (spirits of the Nephilim).
• Humanity is cut off from the Tree of Life (Eden).
This is the “Deuteronomy thirty-two Worldview.” The world is not just “fallen” in a moral sense; it is Occupied Territory. Israel was the beachhead. It was the one piece of land where HaShem was King. Every other inch of the globe was under the authority of a hostile power.
(4) Reclaiming the Nations
This explains the Tanakh. Why was there war? It wasn’t just land grabbing. It was Cosmic Turf War. When Joshua went into Canaan, he wasn’t just fighting people; he was fighting the “seed of the serpent”—the Nephilim clans (Anakim, Rephaim, Zuzim, Avvim, and more) who were there to block the return of God’s rule.
And this sets the stage for the Gospel. When Yeshua comes, He doesn’t just come to be a nice moral teacher. He comes as the Commander of the Lord’s Army. When He sends out the 70 disciples in Luke 10, why 70? Because there were 70 disinherited nations at Babel. He is serving notice to the gods of the nations: “I am taking the world back.”
The Gospel is the Reclamation. It is the reversal of Babel at Pentecost. It is the defeat of the Watchers. It is the crushing of the Serpent.
Read Psalm 82 again. Read Deuteronomy 32. Read them with a renewed vocabulary and wide-open eyes. Read them from the Divine Council Worldview. Know what world you actually live in. Remember this: You are part of the Resistance. The King has returned, the D-Day invasion has happened at the Cross, and we are in the “mop-up” operation to reclaim the nations for the Family of God.
And if you are a blood-bought follower of King Yeshua, if He rules and reigns over your life and is your hope for eternity, remember this: you are His representative, His very image in the physical realm. And you are being groomed and trained and discipled for much, much more. You are being groomed to take your seat as a ben Elohim on God’s Divine Council when He returns to re-establish His Kingdom in the physical realm when it is returned to its Edenic state. So act like it.
See you for our next session. Class dismissed.
