What the Torah Says About
Goyim
(Gentiles or Nations)
The entire collection of Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation, is all about God’s dealing with one man — Abraham — and, through him, His dealing with Abraham’s ancestors and descendants. The Hebrew word goy (plural goyim) is used to refer to the nation of Israel as a political entity or ethnic group, to nations other than Israel, and (most commonly) to individuals and people groups who are not the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The following pages are in this section.
- Messianic Goyim
- Technically, Messianic Believers who are not Jewish,
but who are part of Israel by faith, cannot be
“Gentiles,” for one cannot historically be “Gentile” and
a part of Israel at the same time.
- Messianic Gerut (Conversion)
- A discussion of “conversion” within Messianic Judaism
- Arguments In Favor of Messianic Gerut
- Reasons Messianic Judaism should provide a path for Gentile
conversion to Judaism
- Arguments Against Messianic Gerut
- Reasons Messianic Judaism should not provide a path for
Gentile conversion to Judaism
