I firmly believe that we are in the End Times immediately prior to the return of King Yeshua HaMashiach and the establishment of His earthly Kingdom and thousand-year reign.

What most people, including both Jewish and non-Jewish Messianic Believers, fail to comprehend is that Islam is eagerly anticipating the appearance of their “messiah,” known as the Twelfth Imam or Imam Mahdi, who in the Qur’an and other Islamic teaching exactly matches the Bible’s description of the anti-Messiah, or Antichrist.
According to Islamic eschatology (end-times belief) there will be total world-wide violence and chaos, either immediately prior to, or brought on by, the Mahdi’s arrival. Because of this belief, every faithful Muslim[1] in the world must be dedicated to the spread of chaos and violence, and the total destruction[2] of all non-Muslims, beginning with the Jews, then the Christians, then all other “infidels” (non-Muslims and non-radical Muslims, who are also considered infidels).
Islamic theology also expressly forbids either befriending or honoring treaties with non-Muslims, and requires Muslims to deceive non-Muslims in the furtherance of Islam.
There can therefore never be any meaningful negotiation or compromise of any kind with any Islamic nation or with Islam in general. Their religion expressly forbids it.
Many Muslim clerics and political leaders believe the Mahdi is now alive in the Middle East and is diligently working with Islamic leaders to establish his worldwide Caliphate, or one-world Islamic government prophesied in both the Bible and the Qur’an. Many Islamic leaders, including former Iranian president Ahmadinejad, claim to have had meeting with the Mahdi.
Joel C. Rosenberg has written a fictionalized “spy thriller”
trilogy in the spirit of the The Left Behind Collection that I
believe presents an End-Times scenario far more plausible than
the one presented by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins and accepted
by most evangelical Christians (and taught by me for over 35
years, may HaShem forgive my ignorance). Anyone who wants to
clearly understand the Islamic agenda and its relation to the
soon return of our Messiah, blessed be He, needs to read
The Twelfth Imam,
The Tehran Initiative, and
Damascus Countdown.
1. By “faithful Muslim” I mean every person who accepts and follows a literal, historical, grammatical interpretation of the Qur’an. There are certainly “liberal” or “moderate” Muslims, just as there are “liberal” Christians, who do not accept the authority of their sacred text. [BACK]
2. I have had Muslims email me and tell me this statement is not correct, that infidels will be given an opportunity to submit to Allah instead of being slaughtered. But I propose that once they have submitted to Allah, they are no longer “infidels” but Muslims. Had they not become Muslims they would certainly have been slaughtered. [BACK]
