“Accounts” (continued)
h. The Priestly Garments (39:1-31)
1 From the blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, they made finely woven garments for ministering in the Sanctuary,[1] as well as the holy garments for Aharon, just as ADONAI had commanded Moshe.

(RY:v; LY:ii) 2 He made the ephodritual vest of gold, blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and finely woven linen. 3 They hammered the gold into thin plates, and cut it into threads in order to work it into the blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and the fine linen crafted buy skiled artisans. 4 They made shoulder straps for it, joined together; they were joined together at their two ends. 5 The skillfully woven waistband of the ephod was on one piece with the ephod and of the same workmanship, with gold threads, blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and finely woven linen, just as ADONAI had commanded Moshe.
6 They mounted the onyx stones, surrounded with gold filigree settings, engraved with the names of the sons of Isra'el like the engravings of a signet. 7 He fastened them onto the shoulder straps of the ephod to serve as memorial stones for the sons of Isra'el, just as ADONAI had commanded Moshe.
8 He also made the breastpiece with the same workmanship as the ephod: of gold threads, blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and finely woven linen. 9 It was square and folded over double, nine inches long and nine inches wide. 10 On it they mounted four rows of gemstones. The first row contained a ruby, a topaz, and an emerald; 11 the second row contained a turquoise, a sapphire, and a diamond; 12 the third row contained a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst; 13 the fourth row contained a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper. They were surrounded with gold filigree in their settings. 14 The stones corresponded to the names of the sons of Isra'el, there were twelve, corresponding to their names and engraved like a signet, each with the name of one of the twelve tribes. 15 They made braided chains of pure gold on the breastpiece. 16 They also made two gold filigree settings and two gold rings, and attached the two rings onto the two ends of the breastpiece. 17 Then they fastened the two braided gold chains to the two rings on the ends of the breastpiece, 18 and attached the other ends of the chains to the two filigree settings, attaching them onto the shoulder straps at the front of the ephod. 19 They made two more gold rings and attached them to the two ends of the breastpiece, on its inner edge next to the ephod. 20 They made an additional two gold rings and attached them onto the bottom of the ephod’s shoulder straps at its front, close to its seam, above the ephod’s waistband. 21 Then they tied the rings of the breastpiece to the rings of the ephod with a cord of blue yarn, so the breastpiece would be above the waistband of the ephod and not come loose from the ephod, just as ADONAI had commanded Moshe.

(RY:vi; LY:iii) 22 He made the robe of the ephod from cloth woven entirely from blue yarn. 23 There was opening [for Aharon’s head and neck] in the middle of the robe like the opening of body armor, with a binding all around its edge so that it wouldn’t tear.[23] 24 On the bottom hem of the robe they attached pomegranates made of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and finely woven linen. 25 They also made bells of pure gold, and placed the bells between the pomegranates all around around the hem of the robe, 26 a bell and a pomegranate alternating all around the hem of the robe to be worn for ministry, just as ADONAI had commanded Moshe.
27 For Aharon and his sons they made tunics of finely woven linen of woven work. 28 They also made the turban, the ornate headbands, and the trousers of finely woven linen, 29 and the sash of finely woven linen with blue, purple, and scarlet embroidery, just as ADONAI commanded Moshe.
30 They made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and inscribed on it like the engravings of a signet: קֹ֖דֶשׁ לַיהוָֽה [Holy to ADONAI]. 31 They tied to it a cord of blue yarn to mount it onto the turban, just as ADONAI had commanded Moshe.
i. Moses Approves the Work (39:32-43)
32 Thus all the work of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting was finished, and the Isra'elites did everying just as ADONAI had commanded Moshe.
(LY:iv) 33 Then they brought the tabernacle to Moshe: the tent with all its furniture, clasps, planks, crossbars, posts and bases, 34 the covering of rams’ skins dyed red, the covering of fine leather, the veil of the covering, 35 the ark of the Testimony with its poles and the mercy seat, 36 the table with all its utensils, the Bread of the Presence, 37 the pure gold lamp stand with its lamps arranged in order, all its utensils and the oil for the light, 38 the golden altar, the anointing oil, the fragrant incense, the curtain for the entrance to the tent, 39 the bronze altar, its bronze grate, its poles, all of its unensils, the basin with its stand, 40 the hangings of the courtyard with its posts and bases, the curtain for the gateway to the courtyard, its ropes, its tent pegs, and all the equipment for the service of the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, 41 the finely woven garments for ministering in the sanctuary, the holy garments for Aharon the cohen, and the garments for his sons to serve in the office of cohen. 42 The Isra'elites had done all the work according to everything ADONAI had commanded Moshe. 43 Moshe inspected all the work and saw that they had done it just as ADONAI had commanded. So Moshe blessed them.
